I've finally got my March book review post ready to go! All this going back to work after spring break has really interfered with my blogging schedule. :)
It is a split down the middle this month; two books I LOVED, and two...not so much.

Ugh. If you have read my blog for any amount of time, you know that I cannot pass up a book written by a reality star. Seriously, I've read them all. I remember Cameron Eubanks from The Real World and like watching her on Southern Charm as well. I didn't have super high expectations for this book, but it still didn't live up to them. Maybe if I was a first-time mom? Overall, it was an okay read but not one I would run out to buy.

I borrowed this book from a friend and was so excited to read it. I love Kristin Hannah when I'm in the mood for a deeper, well-developed story. I hate to say it, but this is my least favorite book of hers. The story takes place during the Great Depression and the whole story made me...depressed. I realize the irony, but it was seriously such a downer. Borrow this one from the library.
I enjoyed this book so much! The story revolves around a young woman who is befriended by her boyfriend's aunt. They both have matchmaking tendencies and form an unlikely duo. Their short friendship sets the plot in motion and results in a delightful book. I was rooting for the main character throughout the entire book. Such a sweet read!

This was my absolute favorite book of the month, and will most likely be in my top book recommendations of 2021. Full disclosure, the beginning of this book involves the main character wanting to commit suicide, so please do not read it if that would be a trigger for you. She ends up in a library full of books with her regrets and alternate lives that would have resulted from making different decisions along the way. I. Loved. This. Book. It would be especially fun to read with a book club and then discuss regrets, turning points, etc. So fun!
Happy reading!

Deanna
