Friday Favorites~Travel Edition!~June 16, 2023

After an unexpected break from blogging last week (I forgot what day it was...hello summer!) I'm back this week from 30A Florida!

This week, I'm sharing my favorite travel essentials that help me get to all the fun places. Next week, I'll share our 30A favorites!

I am linking up with Andrea and Erika to share my Friday Favorites.

ONE

I have been influenced, and I'm not mad about it! I purchased these at a boutique in the town where I work on my last contract day this year. My cost per wear already makes me feel better about the price. They are the perfect soft material for lounging and make the best travel day outfit!

TWO

Away Luggage

I love my usual luggage set, but for this trip, I didn't want to check a bag so I used our larger Away carry-on. This luggage is the best and we own a regular sized suitcase and this one. We even gifted our oldest one for college graduation. He's currently in Italy for work, so it's getting great use!

THREE

Away carry-on, Amazon backpack! I love a high/low moment and this backpack works for both school and travel. I love that it has a portable charger built in and so many pockets for organization. It rides nicely on top of my carry-on too!

FOUR

While I do not promote credit card debt, I do promote using credit cards for security when traveling and benefits in the form of cash back or points. We charge absolutely everything we can each month and make one payment to a cash back card. We are able to keep our spending in check, so this works for us and we never carry a balance.
Over spring break, I researched several travel cards and jumped on this one. If you use my link, you get bonus points after putting a set amount on the card...gas and groceries will get you there! We added a side trip to New Orleans on our way home from 30A and paid for it completely with points. We will use this card exclusively for travel from now on! In full disclosure, I earn travel points as well if you use this link, but I would not promote it if I didn't think it was an amazing option for travel or for those of you who book hotel rooms regularly for travel sports.

FIVE

OOO App

I found this app last summer while traveling to London. It's basically social media for traveling. You search the area you are traveling to and connect with individuals who have made recommendations for eating, accommodations, and activities. I always check OOO before a trip to help me plan!

Whether you're cozy at home or off on a new adventure, wishing you a weekend full of your favorite things!

Xx,

Deanna
